Lately, I’ve been drinking turmeric milk every night before bed and honestly… I didn’t expect to notice this many changes.

At first, I just wanted something warm and relaxing at night, but after staying consistent with it, I started noticing better sleep, less inflammation, brighter skin, and even better digestion.

This is the simple recipe I’ve been making every night.

My Golden Turmeric Milk Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

Measure 1 cup of milk or use your favorite mug. Pour it into a clean pot and put the stove on high heat.

Add 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of turmeric, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon into the pot. Whisk everything together until you see steam or until it feels warm enough for you.

Pour it into your mug and drink before bed.

What I Noticed After Drinking This Every Night

I Sleep Like a Baby

This was the first thing I noticed.

The second I close my eyes, I literally fall asleep. My sleep feels deeper and more relaxing, and I wake up feeling way more rested.

Less Inflammation & Body Pain

I noticed my body doesn’t feel as inflamed or sore anymore. Any little aches or pains I used to feel feel way less noticeable now.

My Skin Looks Brighter

This honestly surprised me the most.

I always thought turmeric masks were the only thing that helped with skin, but this made me realize skincare really starts from the inside.

My skin started looking brighter, smoother, and more clear overall. I hardly break out anymore from foods that would usually trigger acne for me.

I also noticed some of my scars look more faded now. Whenever I stop drinking it for a few days, my skin starts looking dull and darker again.

Better Digestion

I also noticed it helps with digestion because I’ve been going to the washroom more regularly.

I’m Not Getting Sick As Often

I don’t get sick as often as I used to either. I feel like the warming spices and natural properties in turmeric and cinnamon probably help with that too.
