Clove Water Benefits: My Real Experience
I started drinking clove water and noticed some interesting changes in my body. I want to share my honest experience while keeping it real and simple. What I Noticed After Drinking Clove Water
- My skin became brighter, clearer, and smoother
- I used to get breakouts often, and it reduced
- My body feels warm when drinking it
- My hands and feet, which always felt cold, became warmer (I have poor circulation, and it seems like it helped)
- It made me feel hungrier than usual
- I don’t crave junk food as much and prefer eating proper, filling meals
- It makes it easier to follow a healthy diet
- My digestion feels better and faster
- Stools are coming out more smooth
Why Clove Water Might Help
Cloves contain compounds like eugenol, which have antioxidant and antibacterial properties that may support digestion and overall health.
According to Healthline, cloves have been traditionally used to help with digestion and gut health, although more research is still needed on clove water specifically.

Warm or hot water in general is also commonly linked to helping digestion and keeping things moving smoothly in the body.
What to Expect at the Beginning
You may feel a bit off at first, especially if you add too many cloves. It could also be part of your body adjusting.
For me:
- I felt neck pain
- I had headaches
- My eyes felt heavy—I had to close them and felt like I couldn’t stay awake
I think this might be part of a “cleansing” feeling, especially if you’ve been eating a lot of sweets or junk food (LOL).
Important Note for Women
If you’re on your period, I personally suggest avoiding it. I felt weaker during my menses, and it seemed to make things worse for me.
Final Thoughts
This is just my personal experience with clove water. It worked in some positive ways for me, especially with skin, digestion, and circulation, but everyone’s body is different.
Start slow, listen to your body, and don’t overdo it.
