Best Moisturizer for Dry Skin, Aquaphor, Aquaphor Healing Ointment, Aquaphor Soothing Balm, Vaseline Petroleum Jelly

Is Eucerin Aquaphor the same as Vaseline? So we have all used vaseline in our lifetime right? Well, now I’ve come across something that appears to look similar. But, do they both do the same thing? Below are a few things I’ve noticed while using it.

Eucerin Aquaphor

  • Locks in moisture especially when you have already applied serum and moisturizer since it activates the ingredients better.
  • Gives skin a healthy glow
  • Moisturizes chapped lips
  • Healing ointment that also brightens skin
  • Absorbs into skin well
  • Repairs damaged skin because of the sun.
  • Clears skin when it breaks outs when applied at night.
  • $31.99 plus tax at Shoppers drug mart (more expensive than Vaseline)
  • Aquaphor is the best moisturizer for dry skin in the winter season.
  • Best for diaper rash.

Vaseline

  • Smooths skin, but too greasy, and takes a long time absorbing into the skin. This causes skin to look very greasy.
  • Used as a lip balm to moisturize lips.
  • Heals burns on skin and stops bleeding.
  • Great for smoothening mosquito bites and bumpy skin.
  • The skin-protecting petroleum jelly great for slugging on top of skin products.
